There are many options, can go with a 353 p/c that is 45mm and different carbs. You'll also need the front muffler support, maybe lower muffler deflector 537099801 . Are you fixing a roasted saw? Are you doing a total rebuild? Vaccumm and pressure test?

Very very low hour 350.

Another common issue is the bearing cap/crankcase half loosens up, creating an air leak. There are many videos and posts, if you search for them. I'm sure many others will chime in with more info and help.

Ok thanks. Have 60 bux in saw. Have never cut with it but it sure runs well. I just remember really liking my old 346xp. This saw is the nascar version so I believe it's 2006.

Through my findings I ran across a service bulletin or ipl that had that part number. The clamp has 35mm on it.
I believe it's for a 268,272xp and 390. I had came across a different number, but was on the small side at 33.5mm.
Interesting, I must have a look at the differences between the two.
