It looks like my husky will have to go to the shop. This is the first for me. They usuall get stold, runover or fall apart first. It acts like it is running out of gas but not all the time. It still has good power when it runs.It has a fuel leak when layed on it's side or primed lots but it still ran fine before the problem started. I put a new plug in it and cleaned the filter, blew everthing with compressed air. Compression seems good it starts up fine.
Changed fuel. The darn thing still has the new stickers on it. I did notice the primer fuel line at the tank was loose and it had another smaller nipple next to it that fuel dripped out that didn't have anything on it. Is it a tank vent?

looks like I am talking to myself since no replies. But my shop called and my gas hose was all swollen up and leaked. You also put it on the vent instead of the correct nipple on the tank when it slipped off during use. Why can't saws use lines that don't swell up? Anyway ,Jim your not out much. just a $45 tune up is the charge and that's included. I think I'm going nuts.

I'd say that it's 90% probable that you have a cracked fuel line. That is where the fuel is leaking from when you have it on it's side. very easy repair.

Don't worry you'll get used to it.

J/K Jim the 350 is a fine saw.

Man you guys are slacking, post is six days old and I got to be the first one to say it.

Don't feel bad!!

I'd still check the exhaust screen as its the only thing I've ever done to a saw that actually helped. Usually I just end up making the problem worse.
Somehow I don't think I'm cut out to be a mechanic.

Have you ran it since you got it back?
