This is sort of the same ol question......"which is better." Everyone seems to rave about the 357. I havn't hear to much about the 365. I know the lit. says the 365 is only 0.2hp more. Is thatthe reason........being the 365 is heavier and not much more hp.

I have a 350 and just put the muffler on after I opened it up. Only made about three cuts tonight but was Impressed. It didn't bog where it normally would.

Anyway I'm kind of leaning on getting a bigger saw to compliment this one (not that I really NEED it........just want another) Has anyone used the 365 and what are your thoughts. Also, since it wouldn't get used as much, I'm thinking about maybe echo or john deere but don't know if I would save a lot of money going that route. Used may be the answer. Sorry for the book.

I say get 'em both. I have saws from a Poulan 20 to a Husky 395, and more between; I'm always looking for more. I'd like to have another one in that size range, and I hear lots of good things about the 357xp.

Too bad E-lux doesn't market it in red...

Dont get a 357 or a 365 IMO, they are still pretty close to the 350. Of course they will outcut it but I would get a 372 if you want to see something that will be a real big difference.

Or get the 357 or 365 and have one power tuned. Stock I think the extra 1hp wont be that big of a difference.

Hi Doug, like Huskyman pointed out, neither of these two saws will give a dramatic enough performance gain over your 350 to justify buying it as a "big saw". For about $50 more than the 357XP you can get a 372 that weighs what the 365 does and then you will be impressed.

Thanks. I'll check into the 372. I thought it may have been overkill initially since I think a 24" would be plenty 90% of the time that would use the other saw. But hey, if I got it I'm sure I would be satisfied for a long time. Does anyone know a good place to mail order from. The dealer by me is pretty high. Also would a dealer service the warranty if it wasn't purchased at their shop?

Thanks,
Doug

I ran a relatively new 365 about a week ago. I was very impressed with the saw. It fit my requirements quite nicely. Running a 20" bar with full chisel - full comp. chain it had plenty of low end power and revved pretty high too. If I were in the market for a new saw I would give this saw a closer look, as well as it's big brother the 372!
