Hey all.

I saw logosol has a 36 inch lopro bar on their site. Does anyone else offer a lo-pro bar that long or longer? its at $78 which isn't terrible, but not great either.

The longest lopro bar I have right now is 24", which is an oregon pro-lite. I have a standard 42" .63 with a loop of ripping chain I use on the mini-mill to ssquare off the big stuff.

I'm figuring if I have a 36" lopro on the logosol, I ought to have as near a good set-up as I need before laying some down fatter cash for a bandsaw.

Thoughts?

What about the drive sprocket?

$78 is a good price for any 36" bar. You can find 36" bars for less on ebay, if you are patient, but not 36" lo-pro bars.

I have the picco spur sprocket for the 660.

Thanks mtngun - I didn't think $78 was bad, just didn't want to spend it if there as another product that might be just as good, etc., etc.

I haven't actually seen a lopro bar that long anywhere - except for the ones guys make by grinding down the bar nose sprocket.

Logosol offers a 48" bar

Hi.

Perhaps this might help you. Logosol offers a 48" (120cm) bar in 3/8" PICCO with 0,050" (1,3mm) groove here in Germany. This is the longest bar for the small 3/8" PICOO chains I kwno about. Like the other low profile bars of Logosol the bar is manufactured by GB in Australia. This offer is not on the official site www.logosol.de. I saw it in the Logosol shop last december and it should be available again at end of march.

The 7 teeth 3/8" Picco spur sprocket for the MS660 has the Stihl spare part number 1122 640 2006.

huebi
