Will the non x-torq top covers fit on a x-torq model? or is there a clearance issue?

I'm using the low top filter

Not 100% sure but I believe the xtorq covers are taller,but can't remember why.

The XT has the decomp on top. It will probably foul unless you drill a hole in the cover.

I believe XT has a taller cylinder so xp will not fit.
