Hello everyone ,

Here is the issue Im having with my 385XP that Dan Henry ported for me a while back . I was using it yesterday to cut some oversize pine and it started cutting out in the cut roughly at half throttle , like it was running out of fuel . So today I changed the fuel filter and put my tach on it at the shop and it still does it at half throttle with no load but when I was cutting with it yesterday it was like it just straight ran out of fuel in the cut at WOT and then she just died out , full tank of fuel also .The saw is turning 13,300 at WOT .

What may cause this issue ? Kinda weird but none the less needs to be dealt with . Changed fuel filter today , fresh fuel ..one thing I do need to do is clean the tank out looks kinda dirty in there but dont think it's enough to cause this..Ok well any ideas ??

Thanks Rob

Check the fuel line betwen carb and plate that carb sets on had the same thing happen to a near new saw, must have been a factory fluke on faulty fuel line. Take the line off the carb and put vacuum on it to see if you get fuel or air.
