If you find a cylinder, let me know. I've been looking for one for my 290, but can't find anything used/aftermarket. Doing the work takes patience more than anything. It's the old "10 pounds in a 5 pound bag" thing. I also recomend taking digital pictures. I redid my 290 with a stock C&P, only because I didn't know the larger one would fit. Get the Dirko sealent to seal the cylinder to the lower end. The hardest part is getting the pulse line on thru all the plastic and getting the carb into the intake boot. Good luck.
