.....are for sale by public auction on March 16th by aeroauctions.ca (located between Orillia & Barrie, Ontario)
All are Internationals; 3 Hi-Rangers, 1 Altec.
All are pretty beat to heck, (some with frozen chips in the back,), one that I climbed up on had a bucket 3/4 full of ice!

The Altec's bucket was lying in the back of the truck for some reason...
They didn't look bad from a distance driving up the hwy a few weeks ago, so decided to stop by for a closer look.
Thought I'd post this info, just in case anyone out there is desparate, nuts, or needs parts.
Don't think there is any reserve on them, and you can bid online.

The old Toronto trucks went for quite a bit of $ at the North Toronto Auction a few weeks ago.
Wasnt going to pay what they went for. (Close to $30 thousand). Units were pretty decent though.

Don't need a bucket right now, so if I can't steal one real cheap...... I'll pass.

Aero had a couple of ex-Hydro chippers last Oct that went really cheap.
Worth checking their website once in awhile to see what they have listed.

The auction place a couple hours from me had 4 of the old asplaud 75' elev for this up coming auction. I checked the site again, and they pulled and switched out all the 75' trucks with 60' trucks. wtf. The 75' have been selling for about $40,000 at auction, but some are beat really bad, bad engines / transmissions. I want a 75' truck in a bad way, but it seems like my options are limited to buying a new one or a beat one at auction. You dont seem to find good used ones for sale very much.

The elevators seem to be a pretty tough find for a good used one. I'll be looking to replace ol rusty as soon as the crane is paid off. 60 ft is fine with me, don't mind climbing out from there if needed. Important factors for me are diesel engine, low miles, serviced and certified

Are they Forestry packages? I will take a drive by tomorrow, don't need any parts though! Looking for another bucket or lift:cool2:

Craig from Vermeer just drops em off there, he lives up the road. Mine is an ex O hydro chipper, I got a good deal on mine as well, and they keep them in really good shape!

Yes they are.
If I had your money, Deevo, I'd buy all four of 'em and start a rent-a-wreck fleet!

I looked at them on line they are only 50'ers and early 90's trucks, any idea what City they are from? Low mileage on a few of them, but are fairly old being early 90's. I don't need a rent a wreck fleet! lol! My wife is letting me build a new garage/work shop though! She doesn't want me bringing anything else with a motor home.....unless it's for her! Looking for a trailer for the bobcat though, got grapples last week for it. Getting it in/out of the dump trailer is a challenge! But doable if necessary! I just hope the lakes freeze a bit thicker here! Got some big willows to flop on Bass lake!
