I found a 440 magnum powerhead at a yardsale for 35 bucks. The guy that owned it said he used it hard for 3 years and it developed a rattle so he shut it off and never took time to check it out.He threw it and an 025 in his wife's sale. There was no spark plug in it so couldn't check the compression or anything.I bought the 025 but passed on the 440 'cause I needed to get more info, think it's worth 35 bucks?Thought I might run by there to see if he still has it.:blob2:

Absolutely!! $35 for a 440? Its worth at least a hundred as a parts saw.

Go snatch it up!

Lolol, 'As the pack surrounds the wounded moose.........the kits in the den await their share of the spoils..........' (in a '60's school film kinda voice, flute and bird calls optional) :D

I seem to never find stuff like that.:bang:

Roger that sentiment, I got a little MacCat given to me for free that ran, and the same with an Eager Beave 2.0 that needed a fuel filter, but where are the keeper kick butt saw deals like a $35 440.

Even if it had been struck by lightning while falling off of a cliff after being hit by a train, I probably would have still bought it for $35!
