I sent my 440 to northwest chainsaw to get a big bore kit and a woods port job. I can't wait to get it back. go to the northwest chainsaw forum and check out the video he posted and tell me what you think. this will be my first modded saw.

thanks

I think it's ruddy great mate, goes like a bat out of hell, you make me jealous and 44's are a great power/weight ratio saw. I love 44's.

46's are good to but climbing around a tree you certainly notice the different in wt.

I also think you should let us know down the track how it's going, like a week by week update for at least a month.

My 44 was mildy worked over by Rb & Co and after about 2 weeks is when it really kicked ass. I ran it in nicely with dino oil and it's a beauty.

It may not be as good as the one you got but till it busts I'll have to wait to get one like yours.

Would NW or yourself like to tell us what exactly was done to it and how much more power and reliability it has over stock.

I am ready for this saw

I found a perfect tree to try this saw out on and I am ready to try it.

I also wanted to give you guys a list of saws I own since a lot of you have them in your posts.

Hey Piney, your saw collection is contaminated and requires immediate eradication of a Husky! :hmm3grin2orange:
