I am starting this thread for someone that has just joined here, and is not familiar with forum posting in general. He bought one of my brand new carbs for his 021/ms210, and the saw is doing the same thing- dying when
the choke is flipped off.

He has come here at my bidding for help and/or pics, so I hope you guys will help, so let the suggestions begin.

He has installed a brand new carb, and the saw does the same.

Look for a cracked fuel hose and or unhooked impulse hose, That would be the first things I would do to the saw. Assuming the compression is ok.

That is what I am talking about!!!

I will try to dig up some pics of the impulse area, the fuel line is the first place.

What about the master control lever? Maybe, one of the linkages is hitting the short circuit wire, or the metal tab or something.

The impulse was the problem with my old 021. It was a pain to get hooked up properly, and very easy to over-look.
