I was given a 2014 550xp with no spark. The guy who gave it to me had his local shop put on a new coil and still it has no spark. I know that there is a small possibility that the new coil is also bad, but what are the chances it could be the carburetor? All the wiring looks good. I took it in today and had the carb updated and made sure it was programmed to the new coil. It has a at7 on it now..

Gotta think outside the box.

It should be possible to electrically isolate the carburetor. I don’t have an original 550xp, but try to find a way to run a jumper straight from the coil to the spark like a non autotune saw.

Also should be possible to use a good multimeter set to measure volts or amps on the open kill switch contacts.

Any chance a local dealer can use their software to have a conversation with the carb? All I want for Christmas is open source Autotune software…

Another thought (and this is a bit horrible). A new coil was put in? I know an out of the box autotune carburetor needs to be given permission to run from the Husqvarna CST demons. I hate to think that would need to happen with a new coil as well?
