Disconnect the switch from the coil to eliminate that (in case it is earthing somewhere). If it doesn't work, check the air gap (to flywheel) on the coil. If that doesn't work, swap the coil.
 
Yea did what's suggested above. Going to get a coil. They say they have a lifetime warrenty. If you're the original owner with receipt. Which is stupid. If you sell something it doesn't mean it's life is over.
i'd blow out the fly wheel and gap of the coil. check that with a business card, then plug , then coil.

Business card is often too thick. I am not sure of the spec for this saw, but it probably only needs 0.3mm (0.012") which is about the same as two sheets of letter paper.
