72 inch double head bar or standard

looking to purchase a 72 inch double headed bar or a 72 inch standard bar for a stihl 660..

why is that ambitious? I am cutting table tops and need a 72" bar for some of the bigger trees

660's are turds. no way would i run a 72". i'm not even sure if a bar that large is even available in small stihl mount. my buddy had one with a 54" and man was it a struggle. we figured it out as the chain wore though. sharp chain with high rakers did kinda ok. saw self feeds to fast with rakers set at original spec and bogs down all the hell (in our soft wood anyways). that 660 went through 2 clutches in 3 months for some reason also and cooked the rails of that bar due to lack of oil.. he bought my 084 and runs a 72" on it. it's hard to believe just how good it does and how bullet proof it has been.

i would say 36" is max for them. even with a 36" the bar is alot drier then on similar sized saws.
