I got called out to a blown over Red Oak today, probably 28" dbh, 80/85' tall. It eased over onto a storage building and into another Oak. The weight is distributed between the building, the main leader hung in the other tree, and two branches on the ground. I'm planning to put an a-frame under the trunk on either side of the building to help stabilize it while we take canopy weight off and hold the trunk off the building while we crane out the big pieces. Any thoughts?
