A little more love for the 346.

Long story short, had some kids mow the back yard, didn't want them alone with the wolf, and needed to ge some work around the house done anyway. I figure I blowed up everything else but this saw, so GO FOR IT!!!! I wound it up until it sounded good, didn't but a tach on it, didn't care and took down some Cedar trees. MAN THAT THING MAKES CHIPS NOW!!!!!!!!!! I see wh they are so loved in softwood!!! Might be better in Oak now, not sure, but it blocked these tees up lickity split!!! Limbed very well, nice and agile as everyone says. Need to get a truck and make a wood run so I can try it in some hardwoods now. But I DEFENITALY have a better opinion of it now!!
Just have to see how long it runs like this before blowing

Put it this way, SRN, one like 04's modded 346 will get into the 16K, so you might be awhile toasting the 346 slightly modded one of yours.. The modded 346 in these parts is the catz azz. Stock who knows, never ran a stock one, only several really modded ones with pipes and mufflers.

Your not bad SRN, just misunderstood by many. I left you alittle happiness.

Call it what you want 04, i ran them both, before you got one of them. Muffler modded piped saw 2149 cover with a 346 heart and a WJ racechain. If you got the better chain its a WJ chain.

OK, if you say so , but the chain in the pics you posted looks like race chain of someones makings. I only run stock chain on all my saws too, made by oregon,stihl,windsor,carlton,woodsman,etc,etc.
