Well somehow I have to thank thepheniox (we're local). He gave me this 25' Red Oak tree.
The day couldn't have gone better. My chain modded to 20 deg (top plate) and 5 deg (raker....I know..should be 6 deg but it's close) ran great. It's the lowest vibration, best finish chain I've run yet. I used all but 100ml of gas I brought with me, the rain held out until the end of the last cut. Working solo for 5 hours got me setup, cleaned up and 12 nice boards, 20" - 18"inches wide. 8 x 9' long, 4 x 7' long...all at 2.25" thick. Very nice looking stuff. Yup...it was another urban tree but nothing strange in this one.
Kind of a dumb picture of nothing but a pile of wood and some offcuts. Racing the rain I forgot I had my camera in the truck until I was done (just about to really pour in the photo). Great fun..a wonderful day. One of those everything worked days.

Hmm...well my aux oiler decided to plug up (bar drilled type) on the last cut. No problem...until it unplugged in the truck on the way home. Good job for the rubber cargo mat. Of course, I never turned it off before I loaded it.
My other rocked chain though sharp...I forgot to set the rakers on . I set that aside. 2 deg just doesn't cut much (rakers checked last night using DAF).

Thanks Mike. What a great bunch of guys around here.
