Notice those 80cc Homelites (Xl-800 thru XL925's) are not that heavy. Around 17.5 dry and 22 ready to run. As a comparison the husky 365 is 18.5 dry and actually about the same ready to run plus/minus a pound or two. :blob5:

Some good info weimedog, It's interesting to note that the xl 12's, super xl, and 400 through 800 all weigh about the same. It looks like they might share the same basic case, just differing in the piston, cylinder and crank.
I own an xl1-auto which is almost identical to the EZ, and I agree, lots of power in this little saw.
