I though I should start a new thread on my mill additions rather that add them into an existing thread.
I've spent the past two days adding additional handles to my mill. I'm sure all of you find some little thing that you would like to tweak on your saw or milling frame to make the next milling outing go smoother.
So, on my mill I found that having additional handles to lift the mill on and off the logs would make my milling much easier. Here a few pictures of the bracket I needed to make for adding the extra handles.
Start of Bracket
View of machined tube and bracket for holding handle.
Tubing welded to bracket.
Finished bracket with SS thin wall tubing handle.
Bracket mounted to mill, hard to see.
I will show you how I remedy my nose oiler bottle problem in a second post.
