adjusting carb on 310? I'm confused

I've got a 310, planning on selling it. Anyway, the manual says for the hi screw to turn 3/4 of a turn clockwise from stop. On mine you can only turn it 3/4 from stop to stop. On the low I can turn the screw a full 1 turn. Am I missing someting. What should the proper settings be considering that I live at 2500 ft. I also oppened up my muffler a little also. I know I need to sell this boat anchor, but I need to fix it first. Thanks

What bout the dealer you bought it from? What does he say?

you have to pop off the screw limiters first, adjust, then put the screw limiters back on. They are the plastic caps on the end of the screws limiting how far you can turn the screws.
