Yes to the best of my knowledge. The difference in 7900 and 681 is 681 has a 1mm longer stroke. There are others. I'm putting a 7900 P&C on a 681. Direct bolton. Golf would be my last choice in a piston. 1. They are very heavy. 2. circlips are junk DO NOT use unless you want to buy a new P&C. Check w/ "The Greek" dandrikop) send message in Ebay, Northwood, Edge & Engine. E&E still had some OEM NOS windowed pistons not long ago.

I am with Shep on this one. I do know that the Dolmar 7900 BB kit at Baileys is listed as fitting on the Solo 681, I believe they provide you with a 1mm thick base gasket to make it work.

I have a BBK from Baileys they do provide a 1mm base gasket for 681.
If I remember correctly this piston is an AIP (see link). I've used pistons from him. I thought they were nicer than OEM. I'm buying one for myself. DOLMAR MAKITA 7900 7901 PS-7900 DCS-7901 CHAINSAW PISTON KIT (52MM) | eBay
