altec lb650 a

ive been in the hunt for a replacement for my tried and true hi-ranger , i have been seriously considering a teco vangaurd 60' w/h non overcenter and mounted on a isuzu cabover , (fyi my chipper truck is a isuzu cab over)

i stumbled across a altec lb650a , mounted on a inter with a dt466 ,4x4 , winch ,short w/b but it a 55'er , the teco is 15k but on the other coast so transport will add 3k , the altec is 21k and 3 hrs away, im going to look at it and its getting di -elec and inspected before i buy , the teco passed with flying colors.

i mostly do res. take downs and only do trees work a few day a month, any input / advise would be great,

altec is in business and will be for many many years to come

teco is out of business, good luck finding ANY parts.
