My partner and I needed a jig to set up a large log truss for an ongoing project. After knocking around a few ideas this is what we came up with.

The mill trailer turned out to be a good solid way to keep everything true and allow for some adjustment.

Here is the kingpost/webs/queenposts ready to scribe onto the bottom cord.

Here we have set the scribed and notched bottom cord assembly onto the rafters for scribing.
 
Here is a finished end of the bottom cord, after scribe, ready to be set back onto rafters.

Here is the finished truss. The braces really make for a crappy picture so I'll try to post some pics when we complete the job.The job is just a short distance from our yard so we will ship it assembled on a lowboy trailer.
