Found this beauty redbox log last night and trimmed the ends ready for the mill, approx 1200mm dia and 3m long. Saw in the photo has a 42" bar on it for comparison

Nice big tree; scheffa: I think where I grew up as a kid in the San Joaquin Valley of California, we have lots of trees there that are similar to your redbox. They call them silver dollar gum.

Will mill this up into slabs to be seasoned then make furniture of some description from it. Probably wait for the weather to cool down a little bit first
