which stihl is the equivelant to the 365 husky,i think there a pretty good saw being a stihl man,any idea :)

Stihl really doesnt have an equivalent right now. The closest would be the ms360 at 61 or 62 cc's or the ms 361 at 59 cc's. I have owned a 365 and a 036 (360) and the 365 was a stronger saw, although it is 3 or 4 ccs bigger. After hearing mostly positive reports about the 361, I am anxious to try one. Next size up in the stihl line is the 440 which will spank a 365.

the closest saw in displacement is the MS-390, which isn't in the same class as it were, the 390 being more of a consumer model, The MS-361 comes close, the MS 360/036 comes closer to being the equivalent model to the 365.

i didnt think there was a good comparison,.365s are a good choise as a smaller saw to the 46 etc,one husky ill consider buying ;)

havnt heard a bad thing about them other than plastics fading and the dogs come loose, one husky that id like to get

i had heard that, but is it really feasable? i meen you could just buy a 372

I have a 365, and I love the saw - I have had no trouble with it.

You can indeed put the 372 top end on there. The only real difference is the air filter, but that is not a critical issue. The top end runs a couple of bills, which makes it cheaper to go for the 372 up front.

When my 365 gives up the ghost, I will probably put the 372 jug on there. But for now, it is one fine saw...

You also have to put in a new intake boot with clamps and bolt flange to carb. Including taxes etc the conversion cost close to $400. Canadian so roughly 300 US$ The air filter difference is no concern since they stay very clean. Especially since modified, people think my decalled " 365S " cuts pretty well!

Peaple do this so they can win a 4 cube class they actualy put a 375 cut off saw jug on it and it mekes the saw 75 cc and a real screamer but for the money just buy the 372 first this saw is great

I own both an 036 and a 365. For my money (which I have already spent) smaller stuff- 036 bigger stuff- 365. the 365 has more lower power, but the 036 just screams, open up the exhaust on either, whatever you have.
