I recently got a Bearcat 74824 chipper - 8" model (but 4" is a practical max), hydraulic feed, rotating base so feed table can be positioned for easier feeding, 24HP Honda v-twin. I have been extremely pleased with its performance for the work I'm trying to get done with it.
My question is how do I get my hands on the anvil? I can remove the 3 bolts that hold it in place, but unless I start disassembling the machine, I don't see how I'm supposed to remove the anvil or rotate it to a fresh edge. The owner's manual is absolutely silent on this.
If a pic will help, here 'tis. The discharge chute was removed for transport.
