Sir, yes sir.

I go to the computer, ready to study, quick look at A-S, end up spending all my study time procrastinating reading threads and not studying.

I'll be there Thursday, Why do you ask?
I thought I saw your name on the MAA newsletter as test administrator or something, or am I confusing you for someone else?

9th year.....

I have crossed the line... I have been studying so much Im now ripping a beer break!

I ask because I was told there are still some empty seats. Also, I am a proctor for this exam and the more people who take it the longer I will have to stay and correct!:bang:

So, how was the test guys? It was only the second time giving it since the new format and study guide CD. It is still too early for results so I don't know the particulars on pass/fail yet and if the essay portion was too easy.

What do you, the testees, think???

VERY good layout easy to comprehend, no double or even triple talk to confuse you. Good pictures for the most part some could've been clearer. Essay questions were good and I was surprised how much of a range they covered on Arboriculture, they pretty much summed up ALL portions of the test in the essay section.

Now what did I get for a score?

Thanks Bull, I have no idea what your score is. Please post it when you find out.:)

Wow!

That test was intense.

I thought the multiple choice/T-F was a great, comprehensive test of the study material. Ditto, for the problem solving. Although, I had trouble ID'ing the Maple w/out standing next to it. I can easily ID a Sugar/Silver/Red Maple any time of year if I'm looking at it, but by verbal description, I may have put the wrong answer. Bottom line.....need to know this stuff inside/out.

Personally, I didn't like the ID section. In my practice, all of my ID is in the field. I think a representative test for ID should be based on field ID.

Stupid question here guys but are you talking about Mass cert arb test since you all are from Mass or are you talking about Masters cert arb test. If the latter, what is the cd study guide you mention?

MCA stands for Massachusetts Certified Arborist.

The test was difficult and I can see why other people around the country talk about this test being one of, if not THE hardest test out there.

Is this affiliated w ISA or TCIA (NAA) , if not who tests and what advantage is this credential. How do you know it is harder than other tests? Just curious and interested.
