any problems with the new 575XP?

We've got 48 of them out there and haven't heard a word, good, bad, or indifferent. The only parts we've sold so far are 17 air filters. The longest any of them have been out is about 75 days. I would have to think at least a few of them are being put through paces.

Grande, I hope that adding weight to the saw isn't going to be a trend with husky. Have you run one of the 575's yet?

They're smooth and sound neat, but you'll swear you're carrying your 066 up until you start cutting.

(I can say that, according to the current posting guidelines here, because I <i>have</i> run one.)

I haven't run a broken in one yet but, there is more torque and weight out of the box. I ran one with a 32" bar and skip chain in a 30" hard dry fir log. I dogged it in about half way through and stopped. I grabbed the throttle and it took right off again. Thats something a 372 wouldn't do out of the box without breaking it loose first.
