any1 know of any auctions in NJ,DE,PA,MD,NY? utility equip such as asplundh?

Hey just wondering if anyone knew of any auctions up in our area for chippers and bucket trucks and things like that. thank you.
im from southern NJ but looking in MD,PA,DE AND NY as well. thank you, any info is appreciated.

Wow, had never heard of JJ Kane, looked up their site. Looks like they have Asplundh eqpt in every sale.

Have you been to their auctions? Is the eqpt. straight from the co's or are they reselling from other people that dressed them up?

They sell both directly and for dealers that have "fixed" it up. But do be careful, I have been to a number of their auctions, and by the time the Asplund units get there they have been quite "used up". You can get a low price on some things, but be prepared and expect to spent some money on the unit before it is truly ready to put to work. Usually on the ex-asplund trucks the drivelines have been hammered most of their life- ujoints, rear ends, transmissions & clutches are common problems. Rarely do the "pony motors" run correctly and often the main engines have significant issues. So, just be careful and inspect THOROUGHLY because they can often become money pits.
