Yup, it sure is. I'm just trying to practice that so I'm ready when I tell my wife.
LOL Just hope there's no Iron Skillet lying nearby when you try to give your talk to her.........(ain't no fun when a skillet flies I can tell you that)
Hey guys, if you remember, that SXL started and ran fine but the chain stopped in the cut with the engine reving. I think I found the problem - the one part I didn't check when I went over it. Do you see anything wrong with the clutch on the right? Can it be that worn?
I changed the drum too and thought the original might have been smaller - but then the guides on the clutch wouldn't fit.

After another look, the original drum is smaller - since the outer ends of the original spider are at the same diameter as the other clutch shoes. Should be OK now with the older clutch.
Good idea! Buy her a nice skillet and tell her it was a package deal and since you love her cooking so much, it seemed like a win-win-win.
Noooo! My wife is the original Mrs. Douglas from "Green Acres" TV show. I'd have to buy her a dress and heals.
I have a great recipe for hot water soup.
