Sounds like you fellas got it all figured out. Too far for me, but i just got back from one yesterday. GTG's are a lot of fun. Lots of sawdust and lots of pics please!!

I called work this morning. My leave was granted and I'm able to go. There is a possibility that I could bring my wood splitter on my buddies trailer. The only problem is that my hook up for the lights is square contacts in a row and the trailer is round. I would have no lights. That is not a problem coming out but I'll probably be driving back in the dark on Sunday night.

Is the date October 24th? I think I can make it. If you would like I will load my Split Fire splitter up,to let you try it. Will just need help getting it off and on,down there. I will only bring one saw my 7900 Dolmar.

Thanks. I thought that might be the case and someone would know. If Wampum is going to bring a splitter than I will probably leave mine at home. I have no help on my end.

yes please bring it. we need pop and steaks and maybe chicken what ever you guys want to have. I am doing the open fry thing on a fire but i myself am not so good at cooking. so ever what you all want i will help you out with the splitter

You bet. I am having a little trouble getting her started today. I think I just flooded the carb. I'll bring several saws. I'm hoping to try some of the non Stihl saws out that some of the other members have. Do you have a street address that you can start PM'ing to confirmed participants so I can set it in my Garmin?

Okay guys here i what i know. we are cutting up a large dead oak tree that has fallen

We fell on some hard times and could not get to the tree. Well now it has to go. So i figured lets make a gtg of it. We have a flat bottom to roll them down onto but i have to put some logs infront of a garge to stop any of them from hitting. As far as food goes yall tell me what you want. I am good for any steak chicken turkey hell bow season is soon one of yeah kill a deer and will eat it.I need to know about how many are comming so i can buy pop water and things like that. I preffere no alchol but hey what the heck. we should all use ppe and be safe while cutting as this tree is on a freinds property but he is a close freind. We need a splitter as i will have o get the wood procces on the spot. Wampum if you can not bring yours let me know and i will rent one. My wood shed is very close to the site. I will haul the wood with my F-250 so that is not a problem. I really want someone to teach me better stacking. So yall tell me what i can make better and i will fix it
