anyone ever done this?

i put dual ports off the sides of my 066 muffler........what about the baffle box?...i hear the dangers of the muffler cracking due to vibration if i cut it out.....what about two holes in the box, one above the other? has anyone tried this...will there be turbulence within the muffler if i redirect the flow through the baffe box?......anyone have an idea?.............................guff

I have taken out the whole baffle, except for where the screws go into the cylinder, with no ill effects.
