I can't make that but I like to try to make it to the masters challenge in State College.

It's usually in June. I don't think they have a date set yet. I'll let you know when I find out.

Its this saturday. If anyone decides to go, I will be there. I will have a Jared's Lawn Service shirt on, come over and say hi. I think treemandan and nctree might be there as well.

Not me I am waiting for them to start the tree descending competition.

We have some guys around here that go to them, they suck at actual tree work but they sure can climb a tree fast. I went to one in SoCal, just as a spectator, HOLY ####AKE!, made me realize that we all (here in my local area) suck compared to them! Those guys were freakin awesome, never seen someone foot lock so fast. One guy, the winner of course, had a huge set, he would jump/swing around up there like he was spiderman, the whole time with a smile! Total hippie dude 2.

It was funny to see newbies trying to kill themselves huckin up a tree as fast as they could muster. Wasn't pretty, I'd be G'damed if I'd let anyone see me flailing around like a whipped monkey wrapped in rope and beeners.
Other than that, well, we went to Hooters.

A few pics of the comp.
