I'm looking into booking a flight for ISA conf. Anyone else gonna be there. Anyone have any slick ideas for cheap lodging, anyone wanna go in together? I know it was mentioned about getting a climbing gig together. Who's interested...I'm looking at flying out of here friday aug. 6 in the eve, and returning aug 11 that eve.. Tickets are still cheap, i found a round trip for 156. Who's going?

I'll be out there. I am not sure of what days I will be there or for how long but I will be there. Its only a 5 hour drive.

Show Biz

Ya, I'm going. Not as far to drive as Big John. There are usualy a couple of guys from Reading to share the driving.

I'm really looking forward to meet some of you guys from arboristsite.com. How will we know who is who? We should have some real gay ID from here. How about a Toby Sherrill mask?

I'll be there..
got a wedding on the 7th so I may miss some of the fun, but I Am giving a presenting on "tricks of the trade" on 8/10... hopefully that'll be fun too.. I Am thinking of getting a suite and having a party or two... maybe have one just for AS members and another for everyone...

I say we just wear some Rastafarian wigs or maybe white sheets for the boys from down south.

... ya, I know this too gooffy and how about a VT necktie?

Look shouldn't we get some special considerations being who we are and who we promote, da!

Anyone competing in the ITCC this year? I'm hoping to hook up w/ someone up there to possibly split hotels w/. We have to get a climb together.. How are the trees up in PA. I've never been there.

I'll be there, and I'll watch the climbing competition...Mike Stanonick will be Wisconsin's competitor.

As far as lodging, I'll see what I can scrounge up in the student slums. :) Naw...last year, ISA took good care of us, and we took good care of them, making the audio-visual stuff run for the speakers.

I'm looking forward to the conference as always - should be a lot of fun in a new city for me!

Go to the ISA page. They should have a prelim schedule in place.

Gear check and the first climber's meeting is on Friday afternoon. They can always use help setting up and prepping the trees. This starts on Wed. I think. If you want to go early, email off line and I can put you in touch with the right people.
