I need to get the flywheel off on my husky 2100. I was wondering if anyone had an extra puller for the three bolt pattern that's on the flywheel. Thought I'd check before I make one. Thanks

I used the stihl puller (the one you'd use on an 056) - it fits exactly also. This one you can make out of a a really big and THICK washer (drill the three holes) a couple of nuts/washer/center bolt and a little messing around. No need to weld anything.

Be carefull with the 5mm bolts that go into the flywheel. They need to be deep as possible (or you'll strip out the soft aluminum) without going though and punching a hole into the top of the ignition module. If you don't know the length I can go measure a flywheel for you.

Thanks, I'll try making something up. I have a depth gauge on my dial head calipers that should work well to get the bolt length.

They are through bolts so use the depth gauge to find the depth of the high spot beneath - that will be ignition module you are trying to miss!
