Does anyone have an ISA Arborist study guide/CD set that they might be willing to part with for a nominal fee? I tried to find one on amazon and e-bay to no avail. I'm not eligible to take the test yet due to years of experience, but I'd rather read something in the truck that relates to the job than endlessly scanning through a catalog for crap I already have...Thanx guys!

You're better off popping for a new one because many who study for the test highlight stuff that's meaningful, to them, and/or circle the multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, etc. Don't short-change yourself for a few bucks. Yeah, I know, it's a bit more than a few bucks, but when/if you get your CA, you'll make the money back, trust me. I can anticipate that there will be posts, after mine, that'll tell you it's not worth it. Trust me, it is, at least for those trying to get city/county/state gigs that absolutely require a CA on the job.

Mine is in near mint condition. I don't highlight my books, and I used a piece of paper to take the practice tests. I only listened to part of one CD (it is just a guy reading the study guide...which would be good if you are spending a lot of windshield time).

What are you thinking is a "fair price"/what are you willing to pay?

I spend alot of time at the gym and I can just put the cd on my ipod and listen to it while I'm doing my hr on the bike/eliptical..or just in my truck to and from work..when I was in college I tried that whole wives tale about listening to stuff while you're asleep so your sub-conscience will absorb it and it worked pretty well actually..I had some WEIRD ass dreams though..LOL
