I was looking at doing a bunch of cutting in the barn over the winter.. Its attached to the house and the air flow is such that fumes get vacuumed into the house when I open the door. I got a cheapo used worm drive B&D 2700 recently and was looking into one of those Prazi beam cutter things. Seeing as how cordless and electric saws had been discussed recently.. this seemed harmless enough to bring up here. Now the recommended part replacement chain is a "combo chain" for ripping and crosscut. Its by Oregon.. 7020 is the part number on the newer ones. Apparently on the older ones you get two chains to swap back and forth with.

Two questions:

Anyone use with other chains?

Anyone know of bar replacement potential with these?

Thanks.

guess thats a no

guess thats a no go. oh well not complaining about finding partner parts at least right?!

Well jeezum man.......I found another 2 piece coil and the Prazi's work really well just use low kickback chain and would not recommend changing bars. Used mine alot worked great then it got sold I will get another one when I need it inside
