G'day everyone

In the Market for some new hand saws. Just wonderig if anyone has any experience with the ARS CT-37 and the ARS UV-37. Is the cut any good? how odes the Sheath locking system feel? They seem to be neigh on invisible on the Internet. Or do I have to Buy one and put up a post myself? Someone must be using ARS or they wouldn't be on the Market.

Yes I do know tha Silky is a great brand, so please don't tell me how great they are.

Have been using Felco's for a long time now, due to the employers I've had. The only real advantage is if you drop the 611 you can flick open the 600 before the saw hits the ground and keep using the sheath.

Cheers

AM Leonard sells ARS saws. I worked with a landowner who was pruning trees in his several-acre tree planting with an ARS pole saw and he liked it quite a bit. I have been tempted...but their handsaws aren't significantly less costly (especially if you buy from Amazon) than .... oh, never mind, you didn't want to hear about the best brand ;) Buy one and let us know how they compare.

G'day ATH,

Thanks for the Reply. I am also very tempted to try one. the fact is I am just sick of straight bladed saws.
Sometimes I wonder with those 'Best Brand' Labels, I've allways thought that it should be called 'Best Marketed' (Although that just sounds daft off the tounge).

The Tsurgi curve Looks quite apealing as well for tight work. I've used Zubats in the past which are really great saws.

Cheers
