anyone set up at expo's

I am going to set up at a bussiness expo, to promote my business across state line, put on by local radio station , there will be another tree co there also ,there about 2 hours from me, the expo is in between us, any pointers ?

capture as much data from customers as possible and follow up with a letter and if possible mention something about a question they had at the expo

print out certificate for a free tree seedling with any estimate

have pictures of before and after shots, difficult removals, etc.

get the handout box from ISA

Has anybody give money or something back to reward your past customer for getting you more tree work, say you tell them that for every tree job over x amount of dollars you will give them back x amount $ , for helping you get more work ? thank for info.

Here's the home show/expo that I have a booth in coming up in a few weeks:

I did it last year and it really kicked off my spring. Cost about $800 for the booth but MORE than paid for itself in just the next week or so. I was busy giving quotes and booking up jobs for about 2 weeks straight.

I displayed my ASV RC30 and Carlton SP7015 TRX stump grinder in the booth and manned it getting people to at least take a card and tried to get names and numbers to give free estimates. Seemed to go over well. We'll see what it does this year.
