Video is not very impressive. Belts squeeled a few times and it didn't look like it was cutting much. I was watching how much play was in the head then saw the whole engine cutterwheel retract back in - looks like trouble. Does move nice!!

I agree, the weight of the engine that far out didnt look good

they havent been out very long. maybe a year? the guy who designed it is a member of this site. i dont have sound on this comp, but from back then was only offering a gas motor. I would never buy a gas powered stumper. he may offer diesel now?

the biggest things with a stump machine to me is how reliable it is. they go through some serious abuse. build quality is real important., nice features like wireless, zero turn, hydrualic tongue, dont mean squat if its in the shop.

You can make a brand new 252 or 1625 squeel or cut off if you dig in too much?

Looks like it was doing ok for what looks like a 25 hp, same as my 1625. The zero turn is nice but I can really see the extending cutter wheel coming in handy too instead of the whole machine moving like most. Seems a little heavy out front, might cause problems on hills etc.?

Looks to me like there is way too much weight out on the boom, with the way that engine is positioned. I say give them 5 years to get the bugs out. If they are still in business then, you might want to give it a try.

i looked at them at the show.

they are built like tanks. i was really impressed.you can get them with green teeth as well.they are available with the 31 briggs and i think the 35 hp briggs too now.they are working on a diesel version as well.

i bought their autofeed for my vermeer chipper.top notch product! they were great people to deal with as well.i may be getting this grinder depending on the economy this year.

The video shows a lot of twist in that boom arm. It sure looks flimsy to me. I can not imagine how much more stress there will be out on that arm when the set a heavy diesel engine on it. The caster assy. on the rear wheels is flimsy also. Looks like something they use on cheap, homeowner quality, zero turn mowers.. No thanks. I will stick with proven machines and proven designs for now.
