A friend gave me an old boom pole for the rear of the tractor. Used it today to move 17 ten inch trees to the chipper out near the lake. Hung tongs on and just reached down and picked each one up and brought straight to the chipper. Also had the big logs hooked on the front end loader, while skidding more at the same time with the rear boom pole. Made it real ez!!! We worked from 8:30 til 2:30 with a half hour lunch. Fed the trees whole thru the chipper. definitely improved my productivity on this job!:monkey:

Tractor supply sells the boom poles new for like 90.00. Lots of versatility for tree work, and at a budget price too!!
