Been away from the board for a while. Uh, loooong while. Shifting hobbies and all that. Metal lathes'll do that to you. :D

What'd I miss? Or just the usual craziness?

Welcome back John, Im prolly new here since you left for making chips. A person can do both saws and machines if he gives it some effort.

My Summit engine lathe, the wife and kids would go first, lol

A couple of months ago Darin gave new Dolmar 7900s to each active AS member, guess you missed out on that.
So, its the reason for the Dolmar selling numbers jump:confused:

Boy, that's a big one Butch. About a 16"? 18"?

I have a 10" Atlas, my father's Unimat SL-1000, and I just got a Clausing 12" gearhead for free. That last one was tipped over, but I think I found the parts I need. Also have a small mill, a big press, and other fun stuff. Here's my Atlas and a photo of someone else's Clausing of the same model:

Thanks, but I highly doubt it. I only have three Homelite saws and very little class. :D

'Tis a model 16-3 John. Will swing right at 19" over the ways and 60" centers. Clausing pattern as I am sure you noticed. Your Atlas makes me drool, not many nice ones left.

No class eh? me neither. At least we know it,,,,
