I was helping a buddy cut up this tree after he had someone else drop it. I got most of the way through with my 25" bar, rolled the log over and found this :surprised3: (the cuts shown were done before I rolled it over)

It's almost as if my bar detected it and turned a bit to the side. Or maybe the lag screw compressed the wood and as a result the bar followed the path of lesser resistance? Or maybe it was JUST MY LUCKY DAY!!
