I wonder if they got those shirts when they completed the official Canadian Certified Crybaby Snitcher class?

Jesus.. "its like the wild west"!!:cry:

This news story was done by CBC news because a "worker" was killed when he had a fall from a tree about 3-4 weeks ago. Here the Ontario Ministry of Labour requires all workers on a tree crew to have the proper training and certifications such as, chainsaw operator certificate, chipper safety certificate, ariel work device certificate, working at heights certificate, one or more on the crew with CPR/first aid certificate, WHMIS, traffic control certificate if working along a roadway etc. Booms have to have an annual inspection done on them, the list goes on. Not to mention liability insurance, vehicle insurance and workers comp. All of this comes out of the employers pocket. It costs big money to do things legit and by the book. Its not fair when you have a bunch of scabs that avoid the costs of training, insurance and workers comp and undercut the legit guys by running ads that say "professional tree work" on Craigslist and do it on evenings or weekends with a pick up, ladder and a wild thing for cash when they aren't working down at the factory mon-fri.
