Hey tree friends,

For the past couple years I have been doing work within vegetation management for public utilities and I am hoping to branch out now. I have just received my Arborist certification and with this I'd like to start up my own side business.

Besides tree work, does anyone out there have a small business that treats them well within the realm of arboriculture? I was thinking of veering toward preserving trees from construction damage or something similar.

Just thought I'd throw it out there and hear from others who are doing well on their own in arboriculture and what is working for them.

Take care

By "treats them well", do you mean another company that sends referrals?

Or are you curious if some of us have a specialty - sort of a niche in the trade?

Get yourself a compressor, air spade, a sharp set of loppers, and you could probably help deter a bit of construction damage. ;)

Hello if you need help building an air lance for $250 email me @ [email protected]

the spades that i have been building are about 90% as efficient as the trademarked version thats $1300. I have use them many times side by side.
