Just ordered my first pair of real climbing pants and can't wait to try them out. Reviews? also the bugs mesh goggles, and husqy bag. Treestuff's prices rock, see if it gets there and is on point.

I got them last July, they are a nice light rugged pant! I wear them for prunes and small stuff ( plus chaps) ;)Gladiators for removals! You gotta get a pair them as well!

Righteous! Will check those out. How are the ascender pants holding up? any tears? seems coming apart? crotch ripped out of them yet? Details!!

I agree, Treestuff is awesome, I've noticed they usually have the latest stuff a few weeks b4 anyone else, I've never once paid for shipping, and some of the promo goodies they send is entertaining.

Stopped by arborwear the other day and picked up 2 regular and 1 flannel lined pair of pants. Also grabbed a couple pair of work shorts (yes if I'm not climbing or cutting I will wear shorts to work - don't mind scratched up legs I hate heat) and an arborwear beanie. I checked out the ascender pants and they look like the cats pajamas. Might have to go back and snatch a pair or two. Also the cambium jacket looked awesome - seemed to be very functional for tree work. Gotta be very careful walking into that place if your a tree guy $$$.

my buddy just got the cambium jacket and its really nice, professional looking, looks to be very durable. I'm ordering mine next week.

As long as they don't make yer ass look fat then they are fine i guess. The Bugz will still let dust in, make you look wee tard ded and you can't see #### when moving about.

I agree the bugz will keep the bigger chips out - that's about it..

Dan dude, don't knock arborwear pants until you've tried them. The regular tree climber pants last me about 2+ years, they are nice..

Got the pants today. They arrived a couple days ago at my shipping location. I've already said too much... anyways. WoW they are comfy. Got them from TREESTUFF and they were fast and accurate with some free stuff. Thanks for the great job and quick service.

I'll post some pic's when I get the pants on and you can tell me if my butt looks big. K? Anyone got some info on these...

Arborist Safety Glasses, Mesh Goggles, Face Shields & Eye Protection safety eyes the red and green ones

There not that great, the seal wears out real fast and they are real stiff, they may not "mold" to your face. The only goggles that I have used that work are Oakley's, but I don't know if they make them anymore. I stay with the mini Boas, buy them by the box
I need to try those pants, usually the wife goes to goodwill and stocks up on work pants for me, last time she grabbed a couple pairs of Levi's that where brand new for 4 bucks!

The question begs to be asked. Do you have to change to decender pants to get out of the tree?

Great question...but I'm pretty sure the answer is "no". Just take off the Ascender pants and you will be OK to come down...no need to bring a second pair up with you.

tech pants are pretty nice as well. I use to work/climb on carpenter pants until the day I had to send our secretary out to get me a second pair because I ripped them from crotch to knee, I hate getting that much sawdust in there hahahahaha especially bucking logs.....those pants are usually worth the extra bling
