Ardmore, Oklahoma

Anyone from this area, or near by? I'm applying for a job with Michelin there and was wondering how the tree biz is in this area.

Ardmore is about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs south of OKC. Ive been there before but its been many years. There are a lot of trees in that part of the state though. You might be able to go through Yahoo yellow pages and find out if there are many tree serv.s there. That might give some indication as well.

Where's Enid, OK in relation to Ardmore?

here's a map. from KC, go south to wichita (i-35). enid exit is 1 1/2 hrs south of wichita.

Enid is notation A, Ardmore is notation B

Kinda sorta not really. Being that I work full time for a tree serv, I do my equip. in the evening time (shipping). I take calls during the day. I have my gear set up in room that is acessable to customers that happen to let me know they are coming by. If given some notice, I arrange to be here. Its not much, but Im still growing.

Are you going to Ard. for an interview?

Yes, I'm going a week from Friday. I'm going to spend the weekend there and put in my application on Monday. Then, I'll have to go back for an interview if they request one. I'm praying for this job. It can be a great opportunity for my family and a nice change of pace from KC where I've lived all my life.

Enid is only 30 min off I-35.

If you like fishing, Lake Texoma is not far. Lots of stripped bass, it's a pretty good fishing hole. Anyway goodluck with the job interview.
