I'm looking for a new or like new old style Oregon replaceable sprocket tip in .404 pitch. Are there any out there?

That's the smallest one. I've never seen one of those in .404", only .325" and .375".
JJ, are they interchangable?
How do you tell JJ. I had a 20" on my old L65 that had .404 chain, that looked like that? Its been a few years so maybe my memory is a bit off of it.
They're not interchangeable. You'd have to find one with shoulders like that one.
It's very possible that those small-contour tips came in .404", I've just never seen one.
If it were me, and it usually is, I'd swap over to .375".
Hey JJ, your right me thinks. Just went and checked my bars. Both 36 or 37" bars, one husky mount, one large Stihl mount, both .404 here is a pic.
Yeah those are the medium contour tips. I have those new in 3/8" and .404.
I had some small contour tips like Eric posted in .325" and .375" (lo-pro). Those came on the shorter bars just prior to the Oregon "Laser-Lite" bars.
David - you might want to measure the groove depth on that bar. It looks like it's been ground on a lot.
I will. It’s a 60” cannon IIRC. Kinda tapers back down funny.David - you might want to measure the groove depth on that bar. It looks like it's been ground on a lot.
I'm a say good luck and keep an eye out for NOS or used.
