Kuuma VaporFire 200 Spring Sale "Free Shipping & Crating"

Boy, last week all we've been hearing on the tv and the radio is how much higher the price of gasoline will be ! It could hit $5.00/gal. I don't think a person could afford a leaky gas tank or a bad set of plugs in the vehicle now that would waste any extra gas.

Gas used to power engines in vehicles is pretty much as gas in wood used to power woodburning furnaces that heat homes. Do you realize that almost 2/3 of the heat energy in every piece of wood are in the volatile liquids and gases that wood contains? If a person has to buy firewood he/she has seen a steady increase in the cost/cord. I had a customer that called from Connecticut and said that the fuel oil cost there now was $4.27/gal., so wood is still much cheaper than most other fuel sources. Plus, a person gets alot of much needed exercise and fresh air putting up the firewood. It also can give a person a feeling of independence and accomplishment.

Most people, however, do not want to burn more wood than is needed. They get all types of added exercise of swimming, hunting, playing tennis, baseball, golf, etc. so any extra time spent on putting up firewood takes away from the recreational time. That's exactly why buying a woodburning furnace that combusts most of the wood gases and volatile liquids and then captures most of that heat is advantageous in saving money and time.

Tested by Intertek's certified testing lab, reveals that the Kuuma VaporFire woodburning furnaces combust up to 99.4% of the gases and liquids in seasoned wood and then extract up to 85% of this heat energy. This also means up to 99% smokeless burns that enhance our environment, not hurt it with pollution. Guess what? Do you realize that NO SMOKE means NO CREOSOTE? Yes, creosote, the sticky residue that can ignite and burn down homes. By far, this is the worst thing about burning wood, and eliminating smoke eliminates creosote.

Purchase a Kuuma VaporFire 200 Furnace by 4/30/12 and receive FREE Shipping and Crating "Up to a $350 Value"

*Valid only on new VaporFire 200 purchases made between now and 4/30/12. Not valid on the VaporFire 100 model. Free shipping and crating only valid in the continetal US. Other restrictions may apply.

I know you are a AS sponsor, but your constant spouting about your products in every single thread you start is getting a little tiring. Never figured that around here we would have to have infomercials, but its getting that way....

Don't look at it like an infomercial, look at it like the guy was doing us a favor offering up a great product at a great price WITH free shipping!
I think being a site sponsor gives him the right to pedal his product, especially if it's to help us.
And NO, I am not associated with the company.
I am curious though and I am going to go check out their website.

I only have aprox. 1000 sf, do you think the 200 will be too big? It would go in the basement which is finished so that actually adds another 1000 sf.

Hi Dave,

The Vapor Fire 200 will be perfect for your home. The furnace could definitely heat a larger area than yours, but with the automated computer control you just set it and it burns at a slower rate which gives off less heat per hour and less wood usage, while still keeping your home at the desired temperature. The product is warrantied for 25 years, but the way it is made with brick lining to the ceiling and ceramic lining behind the fire brick it is made for a lifetime. All the internal parts are made with stainless steel and are replaceable. They both come with a filter box, which is hooked up to the cold air return or you can draw basement air like we personally do.

I appreciate the comments about being a site sponsor. I also understand that some people don't like my threads because they always revolve around our product, which is true. I just looked and see that I have only started 8 threads in the past year which I don't think is excessive. I will continue to keep it less than 1 per month. As a smaller US manufacturing business I try to use all of the resources I have available for marketing.

I can understand why you promote your product here.

Funny thing is, I didn't know you were a sponsor, so my initial reaction was to be annoyed by your post (and past posts) and to be deterred from ever considering your product. I would suggest mentioning in the beginning of your post that you are a sponsor and promoting your product within the forum guidelines. Otherwise, you run the risk of alienating your intended audience.

Look below his username, crystal clear! Careful you dont trip over something.

I see it now, but I never got that far before. I was turned off by his post and had no intention of looking further. I'm interested in what people have to say, not screen names and accouterments.

I could have seen his name in the sponsored logos too if I wanted to look there.

My point is to put it in the beginning of the post so its obvious. Better safe than sorry, right?

Its cool. I wasn't antagonized. I've learned at least two solid facts about this forum because of this thread. I learned Kuuma is a sponsor. I respect that. You made a solid point too. I respect that also.

I was just trying to provide some constructive advice for the sponsor. That's all.

I am currently in the UK, gas is nearly $10 a gallon.

Life goes on.
