The tree had a major failure in a June thunderstorm. Right on Lake Washington.
Barnett Tree Care provided the ground crew and chipping. With Pat Clemo doing the technical climbing. Beautiful day, finished off with a swim!
It really wasn't that hot.....regardless, there's no excuse for Trevor's helmet to be missing. But I recall trangressing myself in that regard. And neither Pat or Trevor are wearing eye pro....
There were quite a few obstacles....deck, hot tub, one several $1000 laceleaf Japanese maple.........and a super steep curving driveway. I was afraid to drive the chip truck up loaded while pulling the chipper, so we managed to find a dump site, and pulled the hill with only an appx 10,000 pound load of chips. no way would I have trusted my gas powered truck to make that hill! Diesel torque rules!
